Being very venturesome person American Donald Peters often bought lottery tickets. He lived in the city of Danbury (State of Connecticut), and was well-known among local sellers of lotteries. However Peters couldn’t win a huge sum. It sounds strange, but good luck smiled him on the day of his death.

When Donald Peters was 79 years old, he bought the next lottery ticket on the first of November according to an old tradition. That day a heart attack happened to American and he died right on a lawn near his own house. In a month the widow - Charlotte Peters found the ticket that had been bought by her husband and decided to check it. To huge surprise of the woman, that ticket was lucky and brought her a prize of 10 million dollars. Such an unusual inheritance was left by careful Peters to the wife. On a twist of fate, the real owner of a huge prize will never manage to use it.

Charlotte answered that she didn't decide what to do with her money on a question of journalists what was she going to do with it. The widow planned to buy a car and even wanted to play a bit in a casino. The son of the dead joked that his father would be certainly glad for the wife, but would become angry on himself that he had died on the day of such huge winning.
