To steal a slot for the precious copy

To steal a slot for the precious copy

It is known that a designer and businessman Charles Fay was the inventor of the first slot models. He managed to invent such a unique machine which practically didn't break and had little odds over a player. Besides, the slots of Fay were compact, convenient and had an original design. The combination of so many advantages in one machine immediately made it popular. In addition, such slots were incredibly profitable as allowed to get easy money with minimal investments.

At first Charles Fay practically had no competitors. Nobody in America managed to create a good analogue of the game machine that would have a reasonable price, high quality and design. Of course, there were attempts, but those slots quickly broke and actually weren't competitive. Considering it, many owners of bars and gambling houses were ready to overpay and agreed to any term just to get Charles Fay's slot.

Mills acted recklessly in his effort to own a good slot. He formed «Novelty» company and dreamed about the glory of the second inventor of excellent slots. He had to commit a crime to achieve it. He just stole the slot constructed by Charles Fay in one of bars in order to find out it's construction and make the worthy copy. Most likely, the crime had been thought over rather well and was committed with accomplices, but still it is not clear whether and how it was possible to take the slot out and remain unnoticed.
