The eight-digit prize in online poker

The statistical information provided by the PocketFives Company declared that up to 2013 none player earned more than 7, 5 million dollars in online poker tournaments. Players claimed that the sites of poker rooms had the advantage over the player so it was practically impossible to win bigger sum of money. However in September, 2013 Chris Moorman managed to prove to the whole world that it was not so. He participated in a tournament with bye - in of 125 dollars which was organized by the poker giant, the PartyPoker Company. Good luck smiled to the player and he could win 9, 5 million dollars in the fair competition. Thus, the total prize of that game exceeded 10 million. Nowadays Moorman is the only poker player whose income of online games is measured by dozens of millions.

The main achievement Moorman considers the fact he could earn such huge sum of money in a result of one win, but not of savings. It is interesting to note that some other significant achievements also belong to Moorman. For example, he managed to get to a prize-winning zone of one tournament for 5942 times and win 225 tournaments, could collect the Triple Crown combination more often than others did.

Despite such high qualification in online competitions the live tournaments don't bring Moorman a desired result. He managed to win only one such competition – ERT in Madrid in 2011, he took the second places for four times and totally won only 3 million dollars of prize payments.
