Badugi

Badugi

Badugi, or Badougi, is a young, but promising type of four-card poker, which is quite complicated.

It is believed that Badugi is a kind of Draw Poker, or rather Lowball, as in this game, there are no community cards on the board, the players exchange the cards from the hand for the cards from the deck, and the lowest hand wins. But there are enough significant differences in the game, from which the main is a ranking combination, consisting of four cards. The greatest value has the hands, in which there are no pairs, and, which consist of four off-suit low cards. These hands are called "Badugi". The ranking combination is determined by the highest card. The Aces are considered to be the low cards, and the presence of straight in the combination is ignored. If the player has some suited cards in the hand, the lowest of them will participate in his combination. If the player has pair cards, then he has the right to engage any of them at the choice.

There is a partiallist of possible card combinations of cards in the game below.

The winning combination is decreased from the first position to the last one in the list.
